The conference is operated by The City of Green Buildings, a non-governmental organization registered in Romania, according to the Romanian Law.

Target group

The speakers and the participants will be local and foreign experts and young professionals in the field of sustainable buildings, Romanian authorities from local and central government administrations, representatives of prestigious companies covering various areas of engineering, that support durable and sustainable development of buildings.

Language

The language spoken during the conference will be Romanian but the presentation materials will be in English. For the international participants a translator will provide simultaneous translation.

Registration

It is advised that you make your registration as early as possible, as places for the conference are limited to a number of 100. The City of Green Buildings has the right to refuse the registration of participants if the limit is reached. Please note that as long as in the registration form nothing is mentioned, the confirmation of the booking is done after the payment of the participation fee. The participation fee is 39 EUR until the 31^st of August, and 49 EUR afterwards. After the registration form is completed and submitted, there is a redirection to the payment page. The payment can be done online, using a credit or a debit card, or via direct bank transfer. After the payment is confirmed the participant will receive an invoice and a confirmation of the booking. Payments done via bank transfer, must be done in maximum 4 days after the online registration, otherwise the registration will be invalid.

The booking of a seat is regarded as acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

Included in the fee are: the conference session, coffee break and lunch, as well as the conference proceedings documents. We require participants to arrive between 8:30 and 9:15 as the reception is done in this interval. The conference will start at 9:15 and the estimated finish hour is 16:00.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing and take effect from the date we receive such notice. If a cancellation is made more than 5 days prior to the arrival date, there will be a refund of the entire participation fee minus 5 EUR, which are our payment processing costs. In case a cancellation is made less than 5 days prior to the arrival date, there will be no refund. The same holds if a person who has registered does not arrive.

Conference Rules

We expect and hope that all participants registered with The City of Green Buildings Conference will make every effort to show respect at all times to speakers and members of The City of Green Buildings Organization. All input and questions will be done after each presentational material.

Promotional materials

At the discretion of the The City of Green Buildings Organization, photographs or videos may be taken of the participants of the conference. The City of Green Buildings reserves the right, unless we are advised to the contrary in writing, to use these photographs or video clips as part of future The City of Green Buildings programs promotional materials.

Participants will be asked to fill out a feedback form at the end of the conference. The City of Green Buildings reserves the right to use this material in future promotion.

Travel Arrangements

All travel details and arrangements must be done by each participant individually. The City of Green Buildings does not cover any costs regarding the travel to and back home for any participants.

Accommodation 

The conference will be held on the 8^th of September. In case accommodation is needed, the hotel where the conference will take place has a limited number of rooms available at special rates. The City of Green Buildings is not responsible for offering accommodation for the participants.

Liability & Changes

The details of the program have been published in good faith. We reserve the right to make any changes or alterations to any aspect of the conference, in the event of unsuitable conditions or other factors beyond our control. If any changes to the conference occur, all participants will be announced promptly. In case of cancellation, all registration fees will be reimbursed.

Romanian Law

Romanian Law shall apply to the contract, and the parties agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Romanian Courts.
